Jeffrey Kihien’s political journey is rooted in a profound humanitarian commitment shaped by his heritage as a Peruvian immigrant. His work as a founding member of The Path of Hope Foundation finest reflects his core principles. Through this initiative, Mr. Kihien was able to effectively organize the distribution of necessary mobility equipment to people with disabilities in underdeveloped Peruvian cities, such as Moquegua and Ilo. This equipment included normal, electric, and neurological wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. His belief that effective, useful aid may restore dignity and enable self-sufficiency was strengthened by this experience, which was motivated by his firsthand observations of extreme poverty. He saw a young lady who had a donated wheelchair. She then began selling items and providing for her family using the donated wheelchair.
